What a beautiful, clear day today. I saw Mt. Baker for the first time in months, but of course I was driving and snapping a photo would be dangerous. Probably.
I've just stayed awake 60 minutes longer than I intended to- reading through your two blogs. Without the two of us knowing much of anything at all about one another- I must say that between the fact we both love photography, we both write and write well, we share one bloodline, we both believe (though I have about 20 years on you and thus appreciated Morrisey in all incarnations in times before modern day coffee shops existed) that the Smiths must be played hourly in any coffee shop- you are one hell of a relative to have.
If only my mother hadn't been the Black Sheep All Other Sisters Looked Down Upon and we'd not been born two decades apart, I think I'd have been very, very blessed to have called you friend.

I won't hold your mom against you, Liz. Despite the two-decade separation, I'd still be glad to call you friend :)
